Some older switch offices cannot keep up with the speed that a payphone dials
a number. They may be able to hold only 10 digits at a time, for example. If
this is the case for one or more of your phones, select a Buffer Limit to the number of digits that can be dialed at a time.
If the carrier requires the phone to wait for a tone before continuing, select
the tone to wait for from the Tone pull-down menu and the amount of time to wait for this tone from the Delay menu.
If the carrier requires that the phone wait for a set amount of time (not
waiting for a tone), select that amount of time from the Delay pull-down menu.
