Phone Number field

The phone number field displays the phone number for a phone. It is one of the ways for you to identify a phone record.

In the Quick View window, this field shows the phone number of the phones listed. If there is nothing entered in the Search String field, then every phone is listed here. If there is something entered in the Search String field, then only the phones that match the criteria specified by the Search What Field menu and the Search String field will be listed. To sort the listed phones by the phone number, select Phone Number from the Sort Field pull-down menu.

In the Phone window, this field displays the phone number of the currently active phone record. The spinner buttons to the right of the field select the preceding or following phone record (in numerical order).
