Delete a Cost Record

Sometimes changes in economy or laws make a cost record out-of-date. When a cost record is replaced and you have determined that the new cost record is functioning correctly, you may want to delete the old record. When you are ready to delete a cost record, open the Cost window by clicking on the Configuration button in either the Navigator or the Navbar and selecting Cost Records from the pull-down menu that appears. Make sure the record that you want to delete is the current record.

1. Click the Delete button.

If any Phone records refer to this Cost record, Panorama will not allow the delete until those references have been changed to refer to a different Cost record. This is easily and quickly accomplished with Global Edit. If there are no phone records referring to this record, Panorama warns that it will erase all references to this cost record in all tables.

2. Click OK to delete the record or Cancel to return to the record.

If OK is clicked, the next record becomes the current record.
