Reporting & Polling
The Reporting & Polling tab of the
Options window is where the polling time ìwindowî is set, phone reporting times are set, the modem speed is set, and the alarms
and flags that can trigger a phone report are set.
To get to the Reporting & Polling tab, select
Options Records from the Configuration button in the Navigator or the Navbar to open the Options window. The Most Common tab is already selected when the Option window
opens. Click on the Reporting & Polling tab.
The Reporting & Polling tab is divided into 3 further tabs:
General ñ Set the polling ìwindowî times and the number of rings inside and outside of this window of time. Set
the phone number the phone should call when reporting, and when it should
report. Set the modem speed.
Alarms ñ Select the alarms that the phone should report to the computer. If one of
the selected alarms is triggered in the phone, the phone will report to the
computer two minutes later.
Flags ñ Select the flags that the phone should report to the computer. If one of the
selected flags is triggered in the phone, the phone will report to the
computer two minutes later.
