Coin Collection Reports

The coin collection report produces very specific information. The report will display (along with phone record information) the amount of money that the phone reported was collected, the actual amount collected, and the difference.

To create a Trouble report (if it is already listed in the table, skip to step 3):

1. Open the Edit, View, and Print Reports window by clicking the Reports button in the Navigator or Navbar.

2. Click the New Record button, type the name for the report, and select Trouble from the pull-down menu. Click OK.

If the report type already exists in the list, select it, then continue below.

3. Select a page layout ñ either Portrait or Landscape (paper is printed on sideways).

4. Select a font size. Size is in the standard points measurement.

5. Select which fields to include in the report:

Phone # ñ the phone number of the payphone

Description ñ the description of the phone entered in the Phone window

Date ñ this is the date that the Coin Box Emptied flag (E$) was reported to Panorama

User-Defined Category 1 ñ this information comes from the Phone window

Category 2 ñ this information comes from the Phone window

Category 3 ñ this information comes from the Phone window

Category 4 ñ this information comes from the Phone window

If the checkbox is clicked on, the check will toggle between on and off (include or exclude, respectively); but if the field name is clicked on, it will be selected and may be moved higher or lower in the hierarchy by clicking the up and down arrows. The fields available are the fields found in the Phone window, with the exception of the Average per Day field. This field is computed the same way as in the Call Accounting window.

The layout meter displays how much of the page is occupied by information. If desired, select to have the information grouped by one of the four User Defined Categories with the Group report by field.
