Unassigned
The Unassigned tab in the
Options window has forty options created for future advances. Some of these, listed
below, have already been used.
To get to the Unassigned tab, select
Options Records from the Configuration button in the Navigator or the Navbar to open the Options window. The Most Common tab is selected when the Option window opens. Click
on the Unassigned tab.
Mode 167 has been used to switch between hardware or firmware call
recognition. Checked indicates use firmware call recognition. (Default checked)
Mode 185 has been used to switch between
ìcuckooî tones or the voice message, ìOperator, this is not a billable number.î Checked indicates use cuckoo tones. (Default unchecked)
Mode 1A5 has been used to toggle whether or not to record
Call Type within the CDR. Checking the box (and then polling the phone) will cause the
phone to begin recording the Call Type within the Call Detail Record. Then
CDR is collected from the phone by Call Type, (set in the General tab of the Call Processing window), saving time and money by not collecting unneeded information. When
the Call Detail Records are analyzed using the Call Accounting window or Call Accounting report, Coin Call and 0+ call totals are further divided to show the Call
Type. Recording and collecting CDR by Call Type is only available when using Y2k compliant firmware. Also, a properly configured Cost record is necessary to classify a call by Call Type. Cost files obtained
from Protel and Protelís distributors contain the necessary information to take advantage of this
useful and money-saving feature.
