Miscellaneous (Option Records)
The Miscellaneous tab contains five options that do not easily fit into the
categories of the other tabs. Included here are options for toll-free,
incomplete, and 555 calls, and the miscellaneous number.
To get to the Miscellaneous tab, select
Options Records from the Configuration button in the Navigator or the Navbar to open the Options window. The Most Common tab is already selected when the Options window
opens. Click on the Miscellaneous tab.
The Miscellaneous tab of the
Options window has the following options in it:
194
ñ Capture Digits on 800 & 950 Calls: Capture digits will capture up to 40
digits dialed after the original number. This feature has been expanded by this
option to include all toll-free calling (800, 888, 877, or 950). To view the
captured digits, click on the View CDR button from either the Quick View or Phone window.
198
ñ Record Incomplete Call in CDR: If checked, Call Detail Records are created
for every call, not just the completed calls.
116
ñ Rate Intra/Inter State 555 Calls Same: Either IntraState (NPA) 555-xxxx calls
will use the same cost band as InterState (NPA) 555-xxxx calls (cost band
102), or they will use the same cost band as 555-xxxx calls (cost band 101). For
the former, check the box, for the latter, uncheck it.
1A6
ñ Use Detail 555 Call Rating: Local 555 calls (555-xxxx) use cost band 101.
Interstate 555 calls use cost band 102. Specify if non-local, intrastate 555
calls should use band 101 or 102. Unchecked, non-local intrastate 555 calls use
cost band 101 with the local 555 calls. Checked, non-local intrastate 555 calls
use cost band 102 with the interstate 555 calls.
Miscellaneous Number
ñ Enter a number that a payphone user may dial free of charge. This field uses
cost band 106, which is found in the Call Processing window under the Special Purpose tab. For the Miscellaneous Number to be free, band 106 must have zeroes in the Init. Rate and Sub. Rate fields, and a number greater than or equal to one in the Init. Time and Sub. Time fields.
