Phone Configuration Reports

Phone configuration reports are simple reports to list the information contained in a phone record, including the four User Defined Categories, the phoneís Assignments, the incoming and outgoing Polling schedules, the silicon Serial Numbers, and other Phone Information like the location of the phone. The result of the report depends on the boxes checked or unchecked in the bottom portion of the window.

To create a Phone Configuration report (if it is already listed in the table, skip to step 3):

1. Open the Edit, View, and Print Reports window by clicking the Reports button in the Navigator or Navbar.

2. Click the New Record button, type the name for the report, and select Site Configuration from the pull-down menu. Click OK.

If the report type already exists in the list, select it, then continue below.

3. Select Large Fonts or Small Fonts to change the size of the type and, as a result, the length of the report.

4. Check the Assignments box to include the information found in the Assignments tab of the Phone window. When this box is checked, the Assignments Sub-Category section becomes un-dimmed, allowing selection of which assignments should be listed in the report. Included with this information are the dates the records were assigned and loaded.

5. Check the Polling box to include all polling (outgoing) and reporting (incoming). This option will also include the dial pattern, the polling actions records, whether or not watch is checked, and the number of download attempts.

6. Check the Serial Numbers box to include hardware silicon serial numbers. The information for this report is taken from the Electronic Serial # tab in the Phone window. Older hardware may not have serial numbers programmed into the board, and so will not have an entry here. Also included is the date when Panorama uploaded the serial number of the hardware.

7. Check Phone Information to include the information from the Location & Customers tab of the Phone window. This is information pertaining to the physical address of the phone and that of the owner of the property where the phone is installed.

If nothing is specified in the Sorting Order and Filtering tab, the phone records are listed by the text entered in the Description field.
