Phone List
The Phone List window is a quick way to search records by either the Location Name or the Description field, depending on which is selected in the
Preferences. Click on different areas of the picture below for pop-up descriptions; scroll down below the picture for more information.
Click the
Phones & Customers button in the Navigator or the Navbar to open the Phone List window. If the Phone List window is not selected in the Preferences, then either the Quick View window or the Phone window will appear. If the Quick View window appears, either use it to Search records by field, or double click any random phone in the first table to open the Phone window. To access the Phone List window from the Phone window, click the ellipsis to the far right of the Location Name/Description field.
The Phone List window works the same was as the Quick View window. Enter the characters to search for into the Search String field, then click Go or hit the Enter key on the keyboard. Panorama displays the results in the table below. The Phone List window does not look within a field for other words that match what is typed. For example, typing
ìAirportî will not find the phrase ìEast Gate at Airport.î For this type of search, use the Advanced Phone Search window. To open that window, click the Advance button.
When your search yields the record desired, click on it, then click Open (or double-click the record). The record becomes the current record in the
Phone window, and the Phone List window disappears.
